Maybe bring enough meat for 7-10 people, if more people show up then we can run to costco and grab some more. That is unless the committed people on this board exceed that number. Glad I don't have to bring the BBQ to, it's a pain to have to haul it anywhere.

Please repost details
I thought we were on for Kelly Park, did it get switched back to Fremont? That sucks, but I might still be able to make it. Btw, Kelly Park is kinda of a zoo on weekends anyway. Can I suggest somewhere else in the San Jose area, or are we locked in on Fremont? There's a lotta options around here, I'm sure I could find somewhere. Anyone got objections to Campbell, Los Gatos, or Cupertino?
Anyway, whatever the decision is, please repost it, with directions. I can only hang till 1 pm, I can pay for parking.
Another thought is where ever it is, it will be Saturday and someone might want to get there early to save some space for us. I assume we're doing parking lot with adjacent picnic tables. I can bring grill if necessary, but again, I will be splitting early. I can go probably as early as 10:30 to save some space/start meeting people. I can bring support munchies and/or drinks, just tell me what to bring, I was thinking potato salad, anything else? I will have 2 kids with me, we're on our way outta town.
Looking forward to meeting you all.

well, thing is that I set it up in Milpitas last time, and the guys said you'd show up to the one in fremont if i would create it. i'm familiar with the fremont area, and i already have directions and a contact number on the first page. changing it now would be too much of a hassle.
we're probably looking at 7 or 8 people, i'm assuming that celi russ and maveth is joining us.

I'm in
Cool, thanks for setting it up. If it's less than 10 guys, I'm happy to host the next one at my house. I tuned out for awhile after Kelly Park was set up and it's a lot closer to me so I was kinda surprised it got switched back to Fremont. I'm leaving town, so Fremont is just slightly more inconvenient for me.
Potato salad? How bout utensils, plates? Seeing as I'm leaving by 1 we shouldn't waste a bunch of time going to Costco. Assuming we can eat before 1 pm, I'm in for 3, whatever the cost is, so someone can just bring the meat. If that will be too much of a rush for the chef, then I'll show up and visit just won't eat (and won't pay). I have a gas grill, lemme know, tell me what to bring.
Seeing as we're carputer geeks, someone should post the GPS coordinates.

How close is the freemont place to a place like Safeway or something? If the place is close to some sort of a store then I would prefer to just drop over there and pick up any food items plus plates and silverware we don't have already. Whatever works best...

rayley's is about a mile away. i think we can get stuff there. i'll probably go out and buy plates and forks at big lots, there's one near my house, and its inexpensive.

I just went to costco for the Meat and Coals. I got around 6 lbs of tritip and 5lbs of premarenaded chicken. I also bought a big *** costco sized thing of potato salad. So someone will have to provide:
Napkins
Forks
Paper Plates
Drinks (soda)
Chips
Any other side like corn or whatever
Those who want to chip in some money for the meat are welcome to, It is not required though. I spent 70 dollars tonight.

I was thinking about showing up a little before noon to get the coals started and stuff. Thanks NUIpIsqo for offering to pitch in some money and taking care of the other stuff.
