my car has just become incontinent, I'm loosing windscreen washer fluid (traced this one almost to one of the washers for the lights . not sure if plug out or pipe cut). Cooling system losing fluid (tried something similar to radweld but still leaking). And also there is fluid under the car, just under the gearbox, which is greasy (I suspect my gearbox is leaking, or the plug wasn't put on properly at last service).
So now I am running about 50/50. (just when I get the screen in the dash)
Update, leaks are fixed, also got a new clutch and rear brake pads (these were jobs left over from last service).
However garage still has car, they managed to screw the immobilser. Well the key for it anyway, yesterday had to drive down to where they have the car to give them the spare key. and there was my car with the glove out and the electronics dangling, the centre console out, with my screen and everything else hanging out. And the connections to the battery at the back all out. Guy reckons he'll manage to get it all back in as it was. yeah rite!!
might have to do some reconstruction when (if) I get in back in time for Sunday.
PS which yellow shaded area, there seems to be loads

Great, don't ya love it when they pull everything out
I'd say "just get it driveable, leave all the electronics stuff, and I want it today", because they're bound to **** it up.
I wouldn't even trust my dad to put all my screen/computer back in (if he had to take it out in the first place), and I know that he wouldn't **** it up, and he's been a mechanic for well over 25 years, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with the mechanicals of my car(s)

Mine's booked in for a ford main dealer service (I hate the *****ing warranty terms) in three weeks - I'll be spending the day before ripping it out and the day after putting it back in; I don't trust some YTS kid who I'm forced to let service my car, so I'm not letting them have the chance to **** my car pc up.

As I am using a Compaq PC at present that is what I did, removed the PC. however the LCD screen is in the dash, plus I have moved the Climate control down and the stereo to the glove, so it's not a normall BMW dash, centre console or glove compartment.

Looks like I will be there. Had to take glove and centre console out to reconnect a few things that the garage didn't quite put back as it was.
What's the best time to arrive tommorrow?
