it would have been nicer if you had tied up the outside shots with the internals, and also had some descriptive text in there.

windows media center edition === pulls album info from internet including album art
stores full albums @ .wma lossless about 400 mb per album . with my amd xp2200 and a 16 speed dvd about 4 minutes to copy a full album.

with new ver wmce 2003 has built in suport for fm, both have tv suport, with time shifting (tivo style )

1st ver was built as add on top of xp home
2nd ver was add on top of xp pro /fm tunner susport

both work great , and would have given any of the home made front ends a run for the money ------- but it is only avilable with a media center pc,it must be registered on a install, and has a small hardware base.

still i love it, works great never crashes. maybe someone can reverse enginer it

Great setups, any more pictures. It's funny how we never see faces for the carputer owners. And I don't think a NY meet will ever happen. We're lazy by nature.

Yes, it's Windows MCE 2004. I wouldn't let it touch my ID tags. I do it all myself with Tag and Rename. You can add MP3 support for ripping which I did. I still think it gives any front end a run for it's money and with 2005 in Beta now I think it will only get better. I do have an Idea to fix a few of the little anoying issues I have with it and I will give an update on that when I get a chance to mess with it.

BTW on the small hardware base. That's really only if you plan on doing the PVR functions or having the FM capability built in.

So yours is the crown vic looking car? I have to say I love it. I would be very scared if you pulled over beside me on the interstate. Your car looks like a FBI / CIA agents.

Do you dress like one too?

I used to have a white sierra (In the UK a lot of police cars were sierras), and found that if I pulled out to the fast lane of the motorway (freeway) the damn cars in front would slow to below the speed limit, thus slowing me down. Damn!!!

Heh heh.
There are a couple of ways to tell a cop car in this country though - for starters, they've usually got a million ariels stuck to the roof. Sometimes you might see a second rearview mirror, or see the hidden blue lights behind the grille. And traffic cops have to travel round in pairs, allegedly
