Hey..I'm a newbie on here and would love to get out to this meet. I don't have anything in my car yet, but have been kicking around the idea of building something for a few months now. Is this thing still going to be on the 14th of Nov?

yes heres the info:
Official Meet Info:
DATE: Sunday, November 14, 2004
TIME: 10:30am til whenever. Girlfriend wants to shop
LOCATION: 9101 International Drive
Orlando, FL 32819
It would be better if you came to the meet to get ideas for your install. Trust me, I did alot of updating on my system since the last meet. I could have saved almost $400 if I waited. I elminated alot of wiring, inverters since last time. Even if you dont have a carputer, come anyway.

Had the printer idea around in my head for a while now. Cool install. You used what you had lieing around, no extra purchases. Doesnt the placement get a little annoying? ( I'm not questioning the validity of your install, but) why didnt you install it in your trunk?
I was thinking about gitting this one . This will rock when I go back to school in hte spring.

trunk gets way too hot. If i put it in the trunk, then I need to run air conditioning to the trunk. Found this out months ago when I had my pc in the trunk. kept overheating. Yes, since I had a printer laying around might as well use it in the car. I was looking into the small printers like you found ash, maybe on my next upgrade.

Hey it works, I got my eye on a very nice small printer for the car. Just need to wait for the price to drop.
