Thumbs up SoCal Meet

Will be happy to travel away from OC - but prefer not to.

Was hoping to have Jeep Wrangler done by now but I've
not started the install. Do have complete pc ready though.

65 Mustang still on the road... but still needs paint job.

Irvine Spectrum is an idea place(closer to most big frwys). Is that too far south for LA peps?

Will be on Saturday. I would prefer late afternoon so we can see setup both during the day and night (3PM-8PM)?.

Just come whether you have it installed, wires still hanging everywhere (must be safe to drive) , or still gathering parts.
If I have my Matrix setup done in time, I will bring it. Otherwise I will take my Supra (which is done for now).

i'm in the same location as sir Matrix here, Westminster.

I too propose an irvine meet

well... that's another vote for the OC/Irvine area.

Any votes or preferences for dates?
Saturday, Oct 30 or Saturday Nov. 6, or an alternate?

Sounds like 4-8 PM is the time most prefer/favor, but if any of you have other ideas or suggestions... let's see those too!

We've/I've held off on posting the final meeting day/time/location in hopes of getting as much input as possible from our other So Cal members. Definately want to invite as many as possible so the event is worth while for all us.

It is my intent to publish a final proposed "DAY/TIME/LOCATION" to this thread next Monday Oct 11, 2004 -- proposing final meeting logistics based on all input recieved thus far.

Right now based on current proposals from various posts...

LOCATION: OC (either: South Coast Mall, Costa Mesa or Irvine Spectrum)
DATE: SAT, NOV 6
TIME: 4-ish til... 7-ish (allowing for a day/evening/night view of CarPC setups)

The final details will be published next week.

If you (or anyone else out there *bump*) have a suggestion -- let me know.

Thanks for your interest!

AClean's your vote for OC noted!

For all the OC voters out there (and the rest of ya...), any preference for South Coast Plaza/Costa Mesa compared to Irvine Spectrum/Irvine?

Seems most are willing to go to either... Let me know if you have a preference or and alternate proposal.

I'm down for an OC meet. I live in Anaheim, so I'm pretty much central to all the proposed places. I think South Coast might be a better place to meet than the Spectrum since it's a little further north than the Spectrum. It would be closer to the people comming from LA and Riverside. It's right off the 405 Fwy at Bristol. Those comming from riverside could take the 91W to 55 S to 405 N and exit Bristol and it's right in front of you. Those from LA area could take 405 S and exit bristol. Or they could take the 5 S to 55S 405 N, exti Bristol. At least that's the way I would take it if it were there, alot of fwy's but at least you don't have to get lost on surface streets. How does that sound?

Nov 6 would be great for me. I'm almost done with my project, and I could use the extra time to make everything all nice and neat. =P

I"m down for having a beer or two or three after the meet... especially if we meet at South Coast or Irvine Spectrum. Both locations have places to accomadate an after-meet gathering. Aside from these two locations... I'm at a loss... I'm not from the OC Irvine/Costa Mesa area so I don't know the scene very well.

Anyone from the OC Irvine/Costa Mesa area have a suggestion for an after-meet gathering spot??
