find the other thread about the long island meet and i think there should be directions there. ...or hurry up and finish your computer so you have gps.
i dont think saturday at noon should be too too bad. if someone has the time, maybe they could go there and see how crowded it is on a saturday at noon..but again, there should be parking in the furthest back corner at least.

I think we should be able to find an area at the mall on the top level at least that we could all use
If we went for shea stadium would we still have to pay for parking? would it be open? ive only been there when a game was on
Im from the port jeff/ stony brook area on the island so my knowldge of is fairly limited of where we could meet other then around here.
Im up for going closer to the city, however I need someone to give a def place.
How many people from the city/NJ/upstate are planning to go?
I think we would be able to dim a car enough with a tarp or drop cloth over the windows to adequatly see the screens if we cant go to a lower level of a garage
Earlier is fine, however nothing really before 10am, Sat is my day to sleep late

I will stop by Shea and RFM tomorrow to see what would be better. I live in the city, but don't mind driving far if the location is better.
Everyone who is planning on attending, please send me a private message including your e-mail address and location.

So corona park is accross from the stadium so why not there. There is always some parking space there outside the ice skate center near national tennis court place.

i second corana park! there is a lot of space to park, and no parking fees, the on ly bad thing is there is to much sun to see the screens clear. no shade if we would get togeteher past 5:00 pm it would be great... no sun ... and is an open space we can make all the noise we want without a problen ... unlike a covered parking lot...

the shea stadium/flushing meadows corona park area has a number of free parking areas. We can meet by the entrance to the stadium parking lot off Roosevelt Ave. and move to a free parking area.
The time of day shouldn't be an issue, since the sun doesn't have a big effect on a cloudy day. I hope that the sun is out on that day, because we'll be able to see how good/bad the screens look on a sunny day. For shade, we can easily cover the windows with a tarp or something.

Somewhere near roosevelt field mall but not the mall itself? Your right I don't want to deal with those soccer mom shoppers either.

I'd love to go, as long as if it's after about 6PM. It would be better in the dark anyway, being able to see screens properly and all.

Time: 12:00PM, Noon or for those that like it the hard way, 1200 hours.
Location: Nassau Coliseum
It seems to me that some people are not reading the postings. The date has been set for the 11th and the time Noon. Let's just meet up at the Coliseum and if there are any problems, we can go somewhere else after everybody has arrived.
Again, I hope for a sunny day because we'll be able to see which screens look the best under those conditions and if we have to, we can just cover the windows.

Now, I have never been to the Coliseum, how are we supposed to know where everybody else will be at the location? Is there only one entrance to the parking lot?

Even though i never hear about this place but what the hell, I'll down to the colliusm park for meeting at exact time. Just hoping that weather is going to be good that day. Hey folks, no more suggestion for other place, we are set for that park. We are done with this business, the only thing not done is who is going. Please, response if you are attending!!!
