Alright, this is not gunna happen the 22nd, we dont have good planning. I say we all look forward to meeting in the first few weeks in Feb. either the 5th or 12th. The weather can be better, and we can also choose a nice spot in time.

Woah! Wait a second, everyone say's they can make it on the 22nd. Let's not change the date now because it's going to be weeks before everyone can agree on a day again.

As for locations I think doing it in Fremont at lake Elizabeth is just fine, it worked fine the last time except for a little mixup but we all eventually got together.

A couple of days before the meet let's look at the forcast and see if it's going to rain or not. If it's going to rain then we can scrub the bbq this time and just look at the cars. If the weather looks like it's going to be good enough for a bbq then we can throw one together with a few posts to this forum saying what everone will bring.

So, who's in for Lake Elizabeth on the 22nd?

If we reschedule to February then we will have the same problems a couple weeks from now.

If we do reschedule, we shouldn't do so until the end of the week, when all hope is lost. :P

I'm perfectly happy meeting anywhere on the 22nd. It's not like it has to be the mp3car meet of the century. We could meet in the Walmart parking lot for all I care.

walmart parking lot? are you serious?! how would we be able to park together? what happens if we get kicked out? WTF man. I can make it to the 22nd meet, but i'd probably be on vikidin.

I'm having my wisdom teeth pulled out the day before.

Hah, hah, having the wisdom teeth taken out isn't that bad, I was driven the same day! (Course I don't remember much of that day...)

I say let's stick with the same time (the 22nd) and the same place as last time. We know where it is, we know where to meet, and it's not to bad of a place. Plus we won't be bothered there. It's safe, let's stick to it.

WOW! I just now saw this thread!! Haha! I am here in Union City - and I'd LOVE to see what everyone else has going on. It seems like the 22nd is a date that is set in concrete - what time? I work that day at 2pm, so it would have to be a little earlier for me personally.

I don't know if this is possible - or if I should suggest this since I just now read this - but MAYBE the 23rd?

I'm off on Sunday so I'd have ALLL day!

Anywho - lets figure this out. I'm on if it's before 2pm (or more like noon so we can meet up and look around in time for me to work). Also, I sure hope someone plans to take a crapload of pix! I think it be pretty cool to post them somewhere (aka I'd host if need be).

Maybe everyone should come down to my work?

heh i wouldnt mind going.. but i have nothing to show =P except a bare interior that doesnt even have carpet in it =P

im working on the screen and computer still.. =P i have pretty much all the little dongles and stuff just need the parts that cost $$$$ =\

perhaps we should have a couple meets then one on the 22nd and more later in the year. i wouldnt mind chatting and seeing some of your guys setups and perhaps get some ideas for mine.

I guess the exact location for the meet is going to be kept a secret. Those of us newbies have no idea where the rest of you met last time. If there is a meet on the 22 maybe someone would be kind enough to provide specific information so that we could join you? Much appreciated.

Wow it is almost the 22cnd. This thing was really under organized. Next time i will plan it out. I say becasue it was so unorganized that we skip the BBQ this time and make it happen next time or just wait until another date. I will see you guys there on the 22cnd

That will give us enough time to show off our stuff. If we all want to get some food afterwards thats fine too.

I'll be there, but maybe move it up to noon so Mrbmw99 will be able to attend also (guess he's got to work around 2pm or so).

I think I'll just go ahead and be there around noon no matter what anyways hanging in the parking lot. I don't have anything else to do that day so I can probably do a quick cleaning or something.
