I got there around 12:45, and I only ran into two other people.
There was a baseball tournament on or something, so the parking lot was packed.

I was there from 12:00-1:00 and didn't see anyone. I must have missed you other guys who were there. I drove all over the place looking around. This was a bummer, I was really looking forward to seeing some setups again.
Maybe we should replan but this time, really plan. Perhaps we can do one in three or four weeks. This time, let's just have one person plan the date, time, and location and whoever can make it, show up. This dancing around everyone's schedules kills us because we can't decide until the last minute and things don't get organized.
It also wouldn't hurt to have a couple of signs I guess so we don't wander around looking for people. I was also thinking somewhere besides a park on a Saturday. Maybe a community college parking lot or something on a Saturday.
Anyway, NUIpIsqo would you mind taking the lead and planning the next one? It seem's the last two that you did came out pretty good. It's up to you, otherwise I wouldn't mind planning it myself but I'm pretty swamped with stuff as it is.
Hope to see you guys at the next one.

I agree
I don't mind planning the next one but dibs goes to you NUIpIsqo (I don't want to step on anyones toes here)
The problem was that there was no one in charge, Whoever does the planning and picks the date and place i don't care, just as long as someone does it.
The place that we did it at this and last time i am not partial to so changing it is no problem to me, but i would like to keep it in the same general vacinity, i already have to drive an hour each way as it is (coming from santa cruz)

So how many were there? I showed up at 12:15 or so, and drove around looking. I made a few loops - but I didnt see anyone or groups that look "MP3 carish" . I left at about 12:30. Maybe more planning for the next one (incl GPS points or an aerial photograph of where were gonna meet)..

I don't mind planning... you want to do it in about a month? or just before spring break? during spring break? what're your thoughts, and i'll look at the calendar and such.

Personally - I'd rather it be a Sunday since I usually don't work those days... I'm supposed to be gone on Spring Break - so before or after... And time really though. -BW

Is there a regular Norcal meet?
Haven't seen a post in a few months.
I'm a newbie, and I'd like to get to see some installs, talk to some people in person.

I said i would organize the next one. The next few weeks i am pretty busy but lets plan one for summer. I will pick a date and a place (probably the same place as last time) and we will go from there. I'll post a thread in a week or so

I vote for the Fremont area.. Also, incase anyone is counting these votes, I say make it a Sunday. Personally - I can't do Thurs-Sat right now due to work... Any other time, count me in! -B
