Hi im new to this forum but would love to come along. How many people are planning on being there at the moment?
Going to be great to see other peoples installs as well. Hopefully i will have my computer back in by the weekend and everything working.

I'm not sure....maybe 10 people or less could be more not to sure on numbers tho.

Hey NiN^_^NiN ,
how is it going? I haven't worked on my car pc much lately with all the parties over new year, no need to mention how broke i am and got back to work all of a sudden LOL. So, is it just 10 people or less? doh... and that includes people without an actual car pc? hehe. Anyways It would still be great as I assume we are all good at different things and could share heaps of ideas and help each other out finishing or adding new stuffs to our projects.

I dont have a carupter nor do I even have my P's yet lol, have to wait to October to get my P's

Also count another two guys they just msg'd me too say they can come along. Should be heaps good. Also just finished reformatting my carputer so it will definately be all working by the weekend.

Well i have no idea howmany there is i'm at work so I can't count how many said yes and how many can't come anymore.

My carpc looks like it will be 80% installed

so i think we might have 3 or 4 with almost done/done carpc's

and a few with the carpc stuff in the car but not installed.

I'll get back to you later tonight with the full count

nice to know we have 1 fully finished carpc

If i get enough time on saturday i'll run the wires through the car and have the PC in the boot well hopefully

Yeah at least you guys are having a get together thats the main thing even tho maybe half of the setups aint finished yous can still discuss and talk about your setups etc. When i first put my setup into my car about 2-3 years ago, i went to a car audio australia club meet and the people there freaked out cause no one had ever seen a mp3 car pc before lol

Even tho at the time i hadnt even put my screen in yet just had a keyboard pc and inverter running threw the stock stereo it was still a start and worked perfect for 8 months or so.

Well the main idea of a meet is to help give each other ideas on certain problems and show off what we got.

If my pc is just on the backseat thats ok cause the new headunit and LCD will be in the dash

I'm still worried about the rain tho

Saturday forcast is:
Widespread showers and storms throughout.
Warm and humid easterly winds.

And there really isn't 1 spot that has any kind of cover not even a tree.

and the weather.com site says scattered showers on sunday.

Oh well if it rains we will have to go somewere else

Well we just hope that it doesnt rain and pray that it doesnt!! I want to be able to take pictures and dont want them to look **** with the rain

hey all just found this thread today, i dont have a car pc, i have a laptop but no lcd, inverter etc. ive been wanting to make one since i was in yr 12 - that was 99. damn, its getting on and i still have bugger all. i live in ringwood so ill come on sun too - just got my licence back after losing it for 2 years after drink driving .151 - then when i went to drunk school i blew .17

anyway thats my life story ill see you all on sunday!
