It was good we had 11 people
The cars were good altho none were really finished but that doesn't matter
Thanks to mirageboy for taking the pictures
I forgot the cam so we don't have any pics of the actual cars.
Everyone was interested in another meet to see how much we have all done with our cars
So hopefully sometime neer the end of the year like August or something will be good.
It might be a good idea for us to have a BBQ or something while at the next meet
All in all it was a good day and I can't wait to show off my car when it's fully done
Hope to see you there next time djmickyg

Had a great time at the meet, hopefully we can do it again sometime soon. Would be good to have a bbq or something next time. We'll have to find a park or something with a BBQ. Maybe Westerfolds in templestowe?

It's ok if your didn't make it
I know the next meet will be better as we will all hopefully have our installs finished
Im very interested to see how the installs have changed over the next few months
Seeing as Boxhill was pretty easy for everyone to get to i think the next meet should be at a park with BBQ toilets etc around the suburbs neer boxhill

hey all, i couldnt make the meet cos of gf issues. was it good?
Anyway i have a bunch of questions i was going to ask:
i want to connect my laptop to my amplifier, do you guys know of any passive rca switches with volume control, so i can quickly change volume instead of changing in windows or going into the boot of my car.
also how hot do the inverters get. because looks like im going to be using an inverter to power my computer, which already has a chunky transformer on it. = a lot of heat.
And one last thing, would my amp still be able to run effectively if i run a 300W inverter to my laptop? (my amp is only a 2X50 watt).
(this is also asuming im using the same power cable from the battery for both the amp and the inverter.

Hey guys,
Here is the list of people who attended ( NIN^_^Nin requested :P
M^ck^y - Michael
NIN^_^NIN - Mathew
CITYEND - Chris
Grahamrb - Graham
Mirageboy - Wayne "Doesn't drive yet"
CaveDog_VT - Kyez "James"
diablo_sx - Scott
A4jet - Alex
Meet was fun and thank you all again for coming. Most of you were hungry and not really interested in the meet lol... Thank you so much Graham for what you gave me.
idea: You know how we can find information like kms, yr etc about cars in car yards? I think each of us will need to have that sheet of information on one of the windows giving owner's details, all the specs and work done as well as upcoming addons etc.. that would be cool i reckon

now thats not a bad idea M^ck^y, but isnt the whole point to pull innocent victims over to the your car, piont out cool features and realy pimp out what you have done whilst not trying to gloat in the process?
where is the fun in letting everyone look at their own will?!!, where is the anxious feeling you get trying to say every feature at once an it comes out in an inaudiable mumble that no one on the planet could understand?

No worries M^ck^y.
If anyone is interested I just got my OBD-II interface, picked it up for $50 second hand and it works pretty well. The only software I have found for it so far is pretty crappy so I'm waiting for frodo to release his version. Still, I reckon its gonna be pretty sweet.
