and yes NiN^_^NiN the problem is always money, otherwise everyone in this forum would have insane systems wouldnt we? i mean f money is no object who wouldnt get every headrest, including back seats with a monitor, dvd-rws so you can watch and burn a dvd you just rented from civic on the way home!!, ah... the possibilities...*runs off and buys a lotto ticket and some scratchites*

I"m selling my car as soon as I can (in a couple of years haha) to get a 1998 upwards, just to use OBD2
If you want some ideas to add to your car, I got heaps.. What is the budget? my next thing is having an LCD ( might be a nokia screen ) showing mapmonkey directions and other stuffs.
ideas... relay boards, cameras, steering PTT button for Navivoice, and many more, TV ... I want it all

No worries, now go get the remote for AUD $ 60 or cheaper and a fusion HDTV card, you won't regret it.

I got the remote, paid $75 coz it was a sunday and the only place open but computer world (cworld.com.au) is selling it for $59 if anyone else is interested. The remote really makes the difference.
I've been looking at tuner cards for it, how much did you pay?

I paid about AUD 180 if i can remember, I was lucky as i had the hdtv tuner before i even got media center and is fully compatible. Mce took a long time to install right? haha but worth it. I have the Fusion Lite PCI HDTV, it came with the ir remote that did time shifting using it's own drivers, pretty good by itself. With mce 2005 it's amazingly stable and good for scheduling records etc.

I havent looked at MCE yet as i don't really have a pc to load it onto and I don't wanna load it onto the Carpc.
I do know of a shop just round the corner from work that sells a few HD and SD and even old analog tv cards.
www.mittoni.com.au
they are in clayton and the store has changed name it seems but im sure they are still the same people
Might be helpful altho i don't know if they are compatiable with media centre
I havent had a look at Media Centre yet but i might take a look at it
Altho i've been doing the same thing for years with my old Flyview TV card and a VB frontend.
Still This looks interesting
