Hi Guys, I live in Melbourne, Victoria..... Craigieburn to be more specific if it's cool i would be interested in having a look at some other car PCs, my project has slowed down quite a but because i lack the ability to do any custom fabrication, but it should hopefully be done in a few months , but yeah, i'd love to come and see some other carputers in action

We might give u ideas on how to install it yourself without to much trouble

There should be a guy coming with a 86 Toyota Celica to the meet

I'm not sure how much work M^ck^y has done on his yet but he's probably run wires through the car so you will have someone who should know what to do as you have the same model just diff years

Looks like your got a better reason to come tot he meet now

sweet, cant wait!! ive started fabrication and the interior of the car is entirely stripped stm but it im optimistic it will be ready, also just a quick question in the wrong forum i know, but everyone here is from australia, so.....

does anyone know where to get those XGA touchscreens in australia, preferably in vic?

I'm in Wantirna, VIC and i wouldn't mind checking out some other car pc's in action..

I will have my car pc in action on the 15th of Jan at the Commodore Cruise Club at Doncaster, VIC

Hey vxcarpc

Im not sure any people will be able to come check your carpc out at that date (i could be wrong) but please come visit the MP3car meet in Feb if you would like to see our carpc's most of use are trying t get it ready by then.

Armen had a long delay with the dash casing but i should get it in 2 weeks or less (I hope) so my CarPc wont be done.

The guy who was gonna give me a spare subwoofer box hasnt replied to me in over 2 weeks

so I might not get my CarPc done by this car meet but that won't stop me

I'll go to the meeting place and take some pics of where we should meet so we have some kind of idea of what it will look like

I'm interested in coming. Not sure what I'll be doing that day at the moment. I do have my car pc installed (although I just sold the inverter currently powering it as I want to upgrade to an opus), I'm using an in-dash LCD from digitalww with a micro-atx board running an XP 2200+.

I'm going down to boxhill park now to check the area out and see if there is any cover if the day becomes rained on.

I'll hopefully take some pics for you guys to know where we are going to meet.

I also go my Xenarc lcd with dash housing so i should be fully finished by the meet
