stupid casino. just called them to complain about yesterday. Tried contacting the manager, got answering machine, left a nasty message and to contact me immediately.

got a response from the casino, not from the manager, from Laurie, the "communications specialist" of the casino. Told her exactly what happened, What time it happened, and that we did this exact same thing last year with no incidents and with more people. She told me she will contact the head of security to find out more. I DID ask her if she does this to all her customers and she said no.

I also told her that some people in our group was very upset and will not plan to go to the casino any time in the future.

just had hard rock casino security call me, had a long talk with Tony Randazzo security day shift asst manager from 6am to 3-4pm, (by the way the same person we all heard on the radio from the security guy on the bike).

Told him what went down, (I did tell him about the nice police escort OFF THE PROPERTY from his security!) Of course he started saying the usual BS that he is security and he is right and we were wrong. After arguing with him about what happened, basically whats going to happen is the guy in the golf cart is in trouble. This is what Tony told me over the phone. Tony told him (guy in cart) to tell us "they cannot stay there, they have to leave the parking garage and be in the casino".

Snootch did you hear that from the turd in the cart?
Did anybody hear that? ***** NO!

Told Tony that the guy in the cart was cocky and rude to "OUR Military Guest"
I told him and Laurie both that there will be no plans any time in the future from me to plan anything remotely contacts any hard rock casino in florida. I was totally disgusted about what happened.

Anyway after arguing with Tony for about 30 minutes trying to straight things out about what happened yesterday, all I got from both Tony and Laurie is a bunch of "I really do apologize for the incident".

To me, unless everyone that was there gets a verbal apology FROM A REAL MANAGER not asst manager!, mark hard rock casino in tampa off the lists of places to meet.

so 2 days after the meet and i was able to mount my pc in the trunk, still not operational, but at least i coulda shown u guys what it was...... ARG

CRAP! Wish I would have known about that meet. Although I don't think I could have made it anyway. Air Force has me stationed in Nebraska. I am originally from Tampa, FL though. I would love to know when the next meet cause I would love to try and make it.

I do believe there is going to be another meet at my home in October. John will be posting up the information soon. He and I have been working on it since the last meet and it should be a good time.

Don't think I would be able to make a October meet. Which sucks cause I would love to come. If anyone is planning one for around end of April/beginning of May 2006, that one I'm pretty sure I could make.

Yes, plans are in the works for another meet. I am working with sickvette with this one. It will be in October 2005. It will be in the Tampa area. I will start a thread when we get everything going.

FMEV.com (me) tries to plan (3) three meets a year, depending on how many people actually attend. So far had no problems with one around March, one sometime before July1, and one around october. (basically 2 meets before peak hurricane season and one meet after).

The only problems with the meets is a location. Especially the June 05 meet, darn those seminole cops....

So if anyone can help with the organizing of a location for these meets, especially a location, would be greatly appreciated. Oh, dont just say, "how about this city, or that city", come on, really.

Really had a good time at all these meets. I would like to keep these going.
