Well anytime in the afternoon should work for me...I'm going to the Renn Fair in the day, then to THEE carputer meet afterwards.  So I would say after 4ish will be fine for me!!!

I've just stumbled upon Mp3car and seriously looking into doing one in my '01 E46 330i.. I live in Roswell and would love to stop by and check out ppl's carputers.. I've still never heard one in person, as some ppl I've talked to said the SQ is crap in them??
Anyways, I'd love to drop by!!
If anyone has experience installing themselves or know of a good shop in the ATL area, I'd love to know. Thanks |

sure man stop by and im sure someone can help you out. the sq just depends on how you are getting the sound to your system. mine sounds just like a cd would since i have it in the aux input on my headunit |

Wow, you CERTAINLY need to stop by the meet, then. It is amazing that you would think that we would all do this to our cars if it always sounded like crap. What would be the use? I still have a total factory speaker solution, meaning the factory 8 speakers, and I think that my carputer sounds 10x better than the 6 disc in-dash changer that came with the car. However, if you think that a home computer setup, with good speakers sounds bad, then I guess you would think that a carpc would sound bad.....
Pretty much anyone who I've taken for a ride in my car has commented on how good it sounds. Many have asked me what I have in the back - which the answer is always...it's totally factory. It isn't mind numbing bass, but then again, at my age I don't need that anymore. Well, hope you come to the meet so that you can go back and tell all those people that the sound is only as bad or as good as you make it....just like any other car audio solution. |

Is the 21st a definite deadline? I just got the carpc in my Jeep-- just need a little more tweaking... would love to see al the setups-- going out of town on the 24th though...

yes may 21 is the day ... don't know if the time has been nailed down though.
I'll have something to do in the early day so It'll be sweet if we end up doing it at or after 5
