Seattle Area Meet - ETA Early June?
It has been quite a while since our last meet. I would be happy to organize another one if people are interested.

Well, that is a start, albeit a small one. How about we do it on either Saturday the 4th or the 18th of June at around noon. We have done the past ones at Fry's in Renton, which has worked out reasonably well.

I would love to come, but I live in the Netherlands now. I used to live in Tukwila. Darn, I miss Seattle!

18th is better - mayhap I'll get some parts installed by that time There are several people where I work interested in carputers, I'll see if they want to join.

Fry's is located in Renton, just off I-405. It is a huge building and can easily be seen from the freeway. I think you get off on exit 5 or 6.
Here is the address:
Fry's Electronics
800 Garden Ave. North
Renton, WA 98055
Here is a link to a google map:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=800+Ga...enton+WA&hl=en
We usually meet at the northern end of Fry's huge parking lot. It is about twice the size it needs to be and usually the northern end is abandoned, so it makes a good meeting place for cars. I want to set the meet for noon, as that gives people coming from Vancouver or Portland time to get here and time to get back before dark.

must not be that many people in seattle, where's everyone, my last thread was two days ago. I was hopping that you guys could move the date to sunday, and Fry's is on exit 5 of 405.

There are plenty of people in Seattle area with car computers. The last couple meets we have done have usually had 4-5 cars and many hangers on. I just think that it has been soo long since we had a meet last that they have stopped checking the Gathering forum. If I have time, I will try sending private messages/emails to the people that have attended prior meets. I would be happy to change the date to Sunday if that works for people better, but we will ultimately use the date that works for the greatest number of people.

And I prefer the 18th.

I went by the site today, I've been working just up Sunset, and got to thinking maybe Coulon Park would be a better place, it's just across the street. They have covered picnic areas. We could have a barb-b-que/potluck. Noticed a play area at the south end which would be nice if anyone has kids.
