Thanks for the offer zryder... I think all of my pci slots are used up, but I may be wrong. Bring it by, I might be interested, if there are no other takers. What are the specs?
BTW - GPS installed! Keeps rebooting the computer after a few minutes (may be working the cpu too hard in this heat, or maxing out the PS), but I'll work that out in due time.
2pm tomorrow... 2pm tomorrow... (just trying not to forget this time!)

Confirmed - no use for TV card yet. One flaw in my case design (which took me a week to build over XMas). SATA connector to HDD interferes with last PCI on MATX mobo... Dang!
Anyone have a jigsaw or bandsaw they could sell me? Time to rethink the case design...

You should come to my place sometime. I am hemoraging old computer parts. Here's a sample:
Creative AWE 32 w/4mb wavetable ram
Sound Blaster 16 PCI
Diamond Viper V330 (paid $350 for it - ha!)
Promise Ultra 100TX2 (hdd controller card - ata 100)
Dozens of 10/100 and 10bt network cards
15" Sony monitors
3DFX 3500TV (AGP) (a sin, but I have no use for it)
I also have a Celeron 300 mobo/cpu/ram/sound, but have yet to verify that it works... (My old carputer)
All of the above is free, if you want it.
WTB/WTT: TI-85 (I'm nostolgic)

well of my 2 meets this was by far the better.
I would say if you missed it, you missed out. here is a recap:
PatO has a fettish for programming sweet things and hording it from us, he's got a sweet wireless steeringwheel controller for volume and tracks and other fun stuff, even his HU!
Nitropwd: he now has big plans, but really wants a VGA TS LCD, we never saw his setup, but we'll still believe him anyway.
Zryder: he has a sweet ride, and likes to roast those tires, and he brought a nintendo? odd (it was a case mod)
My friend Julio: he came with his jetta, and has a sweet webcam, he also likes to use photoshop on images he takes from his webcam whilst moving all the while.
as for me: I was in the wrong lot for 30 min and as I was gonna throw in the towel stumbled upon them, in a different section. (close by, stupid Iguidance) I'm planning on re-bondoing my dash and adding my HU back in, and trying to get a HUD system working.
so when is the next one, so we can all talk nerdy again.

Ya - it was a good meet. Killed my computer, even - so it must have been good!!!
I think we'll have to narrow down the radius next time - more exact directions. However, most of us have each others digits, so that'll help!
But there was one astounding feat I've never seen accomplished at a meet - no dead batteries! (we must be getting good at this)
