ok NE, an other sping/summer is here, and a NE meet is long over due i believe, so before we start naming off dates, how many people here are still interested in meeting up with fellow MP3car-er's?

my first suggestion of a place would be around Springfield MA. but if everyone that wants to meet is in boston then Springfield is dumb.

but first order of business, who wants to meet and where are you located? [and since i dont know everywhere whats your relative/aprox distance to springfield mass.]

Im interested but depending on the date i might not be able to make it since I wont have my car for a while.
I live in West Concord about 1 hour 37 mins from Springfield.

Perhaps we should organize a big "New England Audio Meet" and bring people in from other forums. I know there are a few members on DIYMobileAudio that expressed interest and I'm sure if we troll some of the other audio forums we could get enough people for an informal show/meet...and for those interested, we could do a little sound-off SQ judging to see who has the best sounding system.

I'd say plan for late July, maybe early August (although I know alot of people go on vacation in August). If we get a large turnout, I think the Worcester-Springfield area (or some place in between) would be a prime location. since it is central to all New England states.

i guess i should of added, i'm from clinton, ct, about 1hour15min from springfeild

well that puts the interested count up about 4 from here

if you're a member of another mobile forum, and can find people that have simular interests to ours, then i supose adding more people to our "guest list" is not a bad idea

maybe call it the "New England Mobile Electronics Meet" [or nemem for short]

... i mean we all know that mp3car is better but hey we're an open minded group of people

I have 2 cars.

f1vlad seems to have a decent amount of people interested in a southern/nh meet, which is great to see! a bit to far for me, but still great to see!

i'm thinking a meet in springfield (or near by, see if we can find a state park or something to meet up at) for those of us down in ct/ lower mass/RI/ nyc if ya dont mind a hike, or any one else ... but currently i'm thinking end of july, prob a sunday?
(i personally have a dash and sub box that need a few more weekends of fiberglassing and such. and i'm sure plenty of you have some work you've been dieing to do all winter) anybody like this idea?

another thought is hey every one meet up, kill some time shooting the sh#t, get a bite to eat or some coffee, see what you've got now then meet up again in late july and see how progress has come (if any)

feed back?idea's? suggestions?

hit it up here and lets get a meet or two in this summer, the more active interest we see i think the easier it is to get this together!!

Sounds good, if it's a weekend I don't mind driving far. I would attend even NYC

I need to make trip to NYC few times this summer so I might combine and kill two birds at once.

ok sunday august 5th? i wanted it sooner, but i'm going out of town for the next two weekends, i'm also waiting to see if my boss needs me to make a 2.5 week buisness trip to Ohio to help run a softball tournament, BUT none the less, i think sunday august 5th sounds like a good date to start with here! and it gives me a little kick in the @$$ to finish up my pc

That will probably work for me... as long as i can get a car/truck by then and get my PC in it.
