Is it just me, or do computers seem to go slower when they are frozen? I thought I felt a big difference in speed from below 30 weather and the current weather.

I notice the speed for a very short while until it warms up, but that's usually within about 5 mins...

Purdoom....
could be showing signs of hard drive failure, your hard drive will be the first to go, but that's ok, cuz they are so cheap...
Because as with most electronic components, they do heat up when electricity is added to them, so it "should" be heating up to a reasonable temp within 5 min so starting.
Oh by the way YOU SO (if you want to...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE) are going to be helping with my software set up!!! sounds like you REALLY know what you are doing in that dept.!!

Any ideas on a possible time-frame/date. I'm anxious to see some other peoples projects first hand.
And for the cold, I just have a remote start so by the time I get in and turn everything on, it's nice and toasty in the car.

If anything a computer will be faster in the cold. Colder temperatures = greater conductivity.
My whole carpc has been ripped out for 4 ******* weeks waiting to get my dash back from Phoenix imaging. It better be worth it. I am so mad.

On Sat. I work 2pm to 10pm. Anyone up for a morning get together? Just got a second part for my dash so I might be able to get something in by then. Hope some of you guys agree, but majority rules.
