We've been slacking on meets because the last 2 meets or so have been planned pretty poorly and nobody showed up to them. Now we have like 6 new members, so I am guessing a meet is in order soon again. Lets tentatively set for the end of march.

What fits into peoples schedules?

I dont know that we have decided. BWW is always good, and I vote we go to somewhere in the st louis park area. that seems to be relatively centralized. not too far north, but not too far south either. Im guessing some of you guys have valintines plans this weekend, so what do you guys think? sunday night?

Wow. ssup ma mn people. hehe . dang i read thru all the posts on this thread (u muss guess im bored as hell) wrong! i work 7:30-4:30p. i gotta kill some time if i get bored. but yeah yeah...

im glad you guys got this thread started and the whole mn meets. i seen some of you guys's setups n im impressed. i dont blame any1 4 not wanting to meet in makato. geez tats like 1hr 30mins drive but eeey yall got carputers

. i went 2 college there but now i live in fridley. i plan on building a carputer most likely in an Accord (98-02) model. ive done a lot of research juss waitin to freakin get paid

lol. ill post the specs. i want you guys to tell me what yall think.

Like i said, ive got stuff planned. I looked into two form factors: Micro ATX and Mini ITX. Ill post the micro-ATX specs 1st because it was what i looked into first and also I wanted a carputer that i can easily upgrade. this is opposed to mini-ITX mobo tats un-upgradeable

sounds good, but where are you going to put it? you may find that your case, if its a standard mini-atx case is too big to be practical. i have a mini-atx setup, not all that fast at semp2200, and i have it caseless mounted underneath my passenger seat.

Thanks for the comments zryder. about the case, i was going to keep it in the trunk. use some harness to attatch it to the top rather than bottom so it don't succumb too much to shock. im curious to see your mini-atx case. any chance of posting pics? thanks.

there isnt a case.. i took an old case, cut the panel you mount the board to out, bolted that to the bottom of my seat, and there ya go! its practically invisible, unless you are looking for it..

So what's the deal with the all-you-can-drink deals down in 'Katoland? Fox ran one of their holier-than-thou news stories on it a week or two back... Sounds like I need to go back for a masters, if you ask me!!!
