Last winter my hard drive wouldnt spin up until the internal temprature was a little higher, so I just waited a bit to turn on the computer.

I want to hold meetings, but every time I plan one we get 1 maybe 2 other people to show up, and I'm loosing motivation.

Name a time and place around minnetonka (or more up north) and I'll be there

I would love to get together and talk with people also involved in the hobby but if no one else shows up it would be a bit diffucult. I guess I was thinking now that its cold it would be nice to have a nice heated garage. There is an Old Chicago in Eden Prairie with an indoor heated garage that would be perfect. Plus when we get bored we could stop in and grab a beer.

Anyways if people are still interested I would love to chat with people form MN that have to deal with the weather etc.. and their carputers.

Well, I'll be there just dinking around with the car even if I'm alone.
heres a map of where it is. Obviously the picture was taken before the building was build so it will look like just a gravel pit.

The parking ramp is on the ground floor of the northern building. there isnt really signs but you just drive up to the door and it will open. I will try to park in the north west corner.

How did the meet go?
Sorry I haven't been around much lately... Busy busy busy...

Turns out someone broke into my car last Thursday and swiped my stereo, subs, and Xenarc. They left the computer, for some reason. Didn't like the custom plexi case, i guess. Actually, I don't think they could disconnect it from the car because there were 3 4-guage wires holding it securely in place (1 power, 2 ground)!

So, I'm out the $500 deductable, but this gives me reason to start over...

At any rate, if any of you see some guy hocking a Xenarc without any cables, let me know. K?

I would love to. But if no one shows up it would be kind of lame. I ended up just getting drunk at that old chicago. But it really would be a good place for a meet. Since its a heated garage with free wifi and a bar.
