I'm still in, I'll be rolling in after work probably with my girlfriend, if that's allowed. She's not as geek as me, but gets excited whenever I install a new thing into my car, so I think she'll fit in.

It'll be the same spot as last time. Unless someone has a better suggestion. Although, it's kinda late now to change!

Near as I can figure (it isn't easy to get detailed coords from google), the spot is:
45d 0m 52s
93d 10m 9s

Oh - I took my GPS through the car wash and it crapped out on me! Anyone upgrading to SirfStarIII and want to part with their old one?

I've got an old Axiom GPS receiver that runs on serial/ps2. My new SirfStarIII is much more reliable but I'll bring it so you can give it a try.

I'm assuming that this is going to be rain or shine. Since I don't really see any shine right now.

Bah, it will clear up soon.

And if it doesnt, doesnt rosedale have a parking garage for shelter? We can move there after about 7:15 i think.

Edit: Actually after looking at this: http://www.crh.noaa.gov/radar/loop/D.../si.kmpx.shtml looks like its going to just keep raining.

Rain or Shine. It's on!
neon_eddy just called to confirm that it's still on - and it is (for him and I, anyway).

In the event that rain spoils it, one of our other old spots was 1 block to the north in a covered mall parking lot. The ramp is directly across from Ult. Electronics (across the road behind the store) - the other side of the mall contains a Best Buy. You can see the ramp from our current spot (look north).

I'll suggest that even if it's raining, we stay at the currently designated loc for at least 15m so that stragglers can catch up. If you show up after that, and no one is around - check the backup spot.
