Dang... Sorry I missed that one.
I was in a rush to install an egress window before the rain (remodeling my basement). 6-1/2" of rain (top of rain guage) was not fun, but at least my basement is still dry - so the construction is still on!
At any rate, I had to remove the computer from the Jeep to fit lumber. And (as many of you know) the 30 +/- wires are a real pain to reconnect! I should have taken better pictures prior to removing it...
More notice next time would be cool, but I understand your rush. 1 week is a good lead time.

Pat, I love your system, but I'm telling ya you need to get you case size down so you can stealth it somewhere, like I did. but then again we all think we do things the best way. Of course I jsut fried my MB building my sweet new shoe box sized case.
Techy, welcome. Didn't you move this spring.. but now ar you back?.. or was that someone else?

By some stroke of fate, I took my computer out of my car the day before it rained like crazy. It's good I did, because I had about 3 inches of water in my car. The damn parking lot flooded and I still have water in my car today. I'm trying to dry it out, but it's a slow and tedious process. On top of that, I still havn't been able to fix the rest of my car, so it might be a while before I can meet up again.

I had a nice pool of water in my back driver seat because of the 2 antenna wires I have running out the door that breaks the weatherstrip.
I really need to find a better way for those antennas.

Yeah, that storm was a *****. I'm planning on building a fiberglass "fin" for my GPS and amateur radio antennas that I can permanently put on the exterior. Of course, I need to get rid of the water first.

My GPS is sorta like that, and the wire is drilled through the roof. I don't really want to do the same with my 2 other (WiFi and 2M radio) antennas because even if I did they aren't NMO mount so the cable doesnt go straight out the bottom. Need a solution there.

Word. Id give out mine but then the phonelosers.org people might have my "docs" and never stop harassing me (they do that kinds of stuff).
I never use ham anymore except as a police scanner. Too many old people with no interesting lives.
