ok ppl. Here's the facts...

These are the parks we looked @

1. Glen Island Park. This is the biggest of the three. Huge parking lot, very nice area, quiet. There is a $4 parking fee for Cars, but now, there was noone to collect it. It's not guaranteed that there will nobody there on Sunday. Maybe not, since it's already end of summer. But i'll gladly pay the $4. Here are the pics...

Sorry, I forgot the DigiCam @ home this morning, so i took the pics with my phone (still nice though )

2. Davenport Park. This is about a mile down from the other. It's quieter, and smaller as well, but still plenty of parking. It has a nicer view, and a beach for thos who may want to dip. This one is free, and shouldn't have to much traffic...

3. This is Hudson Park & Beach. It's nice, yet smaller than the first two (as you can see in the google sniplet, but has plenty of parking as well. No worries there. Personally i don't like this one the best, b/c i hate the smell of fish, and there's some ficshing going on here. Today there were a few fishermen. So this may be with more traffic than the first two b/c of that. This has a nice playground (for kids) and some shops nearby. But yet again, we still are in the city of New Rochelle, and to this Park there a shoping strip about 5 minutes away. So post away ppl, and we can have a final note. I personally vote for eighther the first or the second. First being the best, eventhough they may charge us a $4 parking fee...

Cheers And yet again, Thanks StrataG for coming along!

Damn it!!! Umm, how about in my backyard? I really don't want to move my car more than 5280 feet.

P.S. I don't have a backyard.

Why exactly 5280 feet?

Is that vertical?

#1 the $4 one just seems wasteful on an empty park on Sunday. Its not like we are in NYC or something.

#2 sound good, looks ok, even smaller, I doubt you would ever fill parking lot. How far is the park from shops e.t.c

#3 sounds good only b/c of the fact that there are things around i.e stores e.t.c. Food is important part of meet, as well as other activity, or ppl leave early(for me that shows up late, well hopefully not again).
