Hi there people. Don't get on this forum a lot sine they blocked it from my work. What's the date of the meet? I might come along for a look see if it's a Saturday. My pc is working still. Someobody bring a laptop so I can get some updated maps and stuff.. I'll brink mine but it will only do cds.

My pc is pretty much the same as last time. Still using the same controller. I experimented with voice activation and bought a wireless mic etc and gave up on that idea and went back to my trusty PSX controller. I got a new in-dash screen which is still not touch screen unfortunately.. Can't afford one of them expensive car pcs.. lol..

Might see ya'll there. Come along people, It's worth it. There's a lot of good ideas going around.

If it's 23/24th September (Sat / Sun) that's very iffy.. I didn't see the dates until today. Considering that's when my wifes due to have a baby I may come, I might not. If it was earlier in September than maybe I'd be more inclinded to come along. I cleaned up my whole setup now so It dosen't look like a mess of wires and cables.. I'm aolso installing a touch screen in my LCD so hopefully all will go well. I might also have some voice activated action going on too.

The more people who we can get to come the better . The last meet I went to was ok but didn't have enuff going on. Only about 9 or so people rocked up. If we can get some more people to come along it will be a bit better. I'll bring the camera along if you want some good SLR digital pics of your setup.

HAha.. won't take you long to get a replacement sound blaster for 10 bucks.

Holden__V8: Come along. I wouldn't mind seeing your car let alone the computer.

the more cars we can get to come along the more interesting it will be.

I haven't seen NiN^ ^NiN post on here for a while. He used to be on here all the time. Also there was a guy a tthe last meet with a Smart car who was going to install some kind of MAC in the front of it. I wouldn't mind seeing what became of that install.

OK. Let's all say Saturday August the 26th.

Will you all be able to make that? That will give plenty of time for you to all iron out any bugs you have in your car pac's and get it all neat. I'll be there for sure. Spread the word around to all Melbournites that the meet is on. Same place, the car park just off the Eastern Freeway as shown on the map on the first page.

Only problem is there is no room for a PCI card at all in my case. Going to have to send the whole motherboard back for a replacement....lets just hope the turnaround time from Hong Kong isnt too long. I have another system I am working on for a mate, might just have to plug that system in for the meet...either way, 26th Aug sounds good.
