Well sorry I wasn't there. I didn't get there as early as I planned to and 15-20 minutes of stop-and-go entrance traffic later I decided to cut my losses and not be late to both appointments I had today. Hope you enjoyed the cold soda at least. No new power inverter for me Eh... just as well, I'll be getting married and honeymooning for two weeks.

It was good seeing/meeting everyone that came out. Sorry about the traffic getting into the park. I had NO idea it would be like that... I go mountain biking quite a bit, and it's never been like that... anywho.. it was a beautiful day, perfect for the cookout.. lol you should have seen us. We went there never really having grilled before... and now... we have created fire and cooked meat.. lol not Grill Masters yet... but maybe one day. We'll definitely have to do these cookouts again. Most everyone made it 'into' the park around 2:30. Then we ate and checked out the rides till about 6:30 or so I think... lol but we had fun and I look forward to seeing everyone at the next meet. Sorry that some of you weren't able to make it, but we all understand. There are always things that will come up.. just hope to see ya at the next one.
Thanks to all who brought/sent food/drinks, etc
Yall have a good'n and see ya in a month
Cheers... The W3bMa5t3r.. aka Steve

Hey guys, for publicizing our monthly meets, etc more... throw some ideas at me. We have DCCarPCs and this thread, but it seems a lot of people still don't know about us... what else can we do/change? shoot the ideas to me...

Hey 3g Jester,
When you go to upload the pics, can you zip them up and email them to me as well?
car~pc guy AT g mail DOT~com
no spaces or tildes, and well, you know the other two that way I can upload them to DCCarPCs.com's Meet Photo Gallery as well.
This request goes to all who take pics at the meets
Thanks!

I started by including the link to DCcarPC's in my signature, will do so on other sites/forums as well, as long as you're ok with that. I think most folks that visit the site get the link to it from your sig, actually. I think if we all did that, we could punch up the visibility a bit.

Yes, I think you're correct. lol. I know for a fact CarPCNet gets alot of hits from my sig. It'd be great if all our members did it for the DCCarPCs site. I'm gonna try to start maintaining the site a bit more too, so maybe that'll help... so much to do, so little time..

Hey Steve,
since the metro DC meet area got extended, how ´bout starting a new thread ?
This way we could start the thread with an info/member/meet locations post that could be updated for every meet. And one wouldn´t have to dig and read through all the latest posts to know if something is going on...
Of course we could add a link to this thread for the nostalgics. LOL!
Just a suggestion...
cheers
