Sundays work better than Saturdays I was told, so keep that in mind.
That sounds good. I would love for it to be in St. Pete. Hopefully everyone from the east coast wont mind driving over.

If they saw pics of the place, I think they wouldn't mind the drive AT ALL.

Hey, I'm in Orlando and went down to the West Palm meet (John1701 I think you put that one together). I gotta say I was a little dissapointed with the number of people that showed up. Now don't get me wrong; I'm glad I went but I thought alot more people would show up. There was some nice cars and plenty of good people but I'm not one for long drives and before anyone gets stupid with remarks about maybe I shouldn't be in this forum relax! everyone has a right to express their opinion and concerns.
I for one would like to see something a little closer...**** I'll even buy the first round of beers...maybe even the second, small price too pay to sorround myself with people that think he way I do and are willing to share some of there insight with the rest of us.
Also, One thing that I expected to see at the meet was something like a swapshop where people brings parts to sell or trade and some real hands on set up's and trouble shooting. I still don't have my system turning on and off with my ignition (could be a bad P1900).

EVERYBODY WANTS THAT AND IF ANYONE WANTS IT IN THEIR FRONT YARD, POST ADDRESS, POST FREE BEER, AND WE WILL SHOW UP. Had 7 meets so far, none in fort myers BTW.

Need a place to do swapshop, plus the WPB meet did say Chilis. Not swapshop. It would be great to do a swapshop, troubleshooting, etc.
Everybody (wines) but nobody wants to help put any effort.

Ok I say that we count the # of people that are up for a meet and then we talk about the place.
Also I remember that xmadcowx complain about the last meet been to far and end up hosting his own so why we should have it there, it looks like you don't even want to drive away from you own county.
Thanatos.

Probably because I got called into work, and would love nothing more than to work 6 hours on a Saturday and then drive to Miami. I mentioned Fort de Soto because I have been there twice and the place is great for meets. But since it is blatantly obvious that I refuse to leave my county, I'll let you find a place and make reservations, etc. I don't mind to drive, but since this place is only a hour drive from my house, I didn't mind setting it up and reserving a shelter. But since it seems to be a problem that I live "close" to Fort de Soto, find another place yourself, frees up some of my time.
