Things may be looking up for my build. I secured a new touch screen panel. All I gotta do is install the sucka and set it up and I should have it all working by the meet. Still no set date yet but wil be mid-november which is comming up soon!!!

Going there to train new staff for our company, to checkout the new office and to catch up with a work partner who I havent seen in a long time, only talk to him via skype.

I wont be ready in the next two weeks - audio shop delays.
How about a December meet?
No point rushing people to meet in the next 2 weeks if no-one seems keen. In December my car will be ready and Jarrod can also attend.
I vote for early December

Sounds good to me, but don't let me hold everyone back if you are all keen for Nov when I'm away. We can always have a meet in Nov. and Dec.
I've been working hard to get my skin and software to a more finished state, but damn phidget is dead so wont have steering wheel controls interfaced without some sort of miracle

Yeah I agree. I've been flat out with work and stuff I haven't had time. I just had my car in the panel shop and my new touch panel just arrived and needs to be installed and tested with some frontend software before I'm happy to demo it. I vote we make it say Saturday, December 9th. I find people are more willing to turn up on a saturday than a sunday. So who agrees?
I still need to get hold of a 4 pin male to female CDROM audio style cable for the touch screen which Is the last bit of the ever fun puzzle of installing an aftermarket touch panel into a cheap screen. Tip: Buy the screen with touch panel already built in.

Just got my Xenarc 840TSV.. was ready to install it and then through testing I find out that "autoswitch" does not work.
Spoke to Xenarc techs....and apparently this is the ONLY xenarc model that does NOT do "autoswitch" for reverse signal type usage.
WTF!!
Back it goes.. asking them for a custom version at the moment. more delays...

Sounds like everyone's having issues. I still don't have a power cable for my touch screen. It's been installed but no cables running to the USB on the pc so It's still work in progess so I doubt very much by early december i'll have it going.. Hrm..
