I have gone every Monday for the last 6 months. It's been great fun, and only gets bigger.

2 things:
A). Is there a cover for the event tonight(Monday)?
B). As for the meet in Dallas, I'm suggesting Dukes on Beltline in Addison. It's right beside the Sam's and has lots of parking. We could meet in the corner of the Sam's lot right beside Dukes. This is ofcourse if we can't get a good haunted house to go to. And I still say the 21st would be a good day. Are there any objections to the 21st?
...and about the haunted house, any suggestions on where?

I don't think they can charge cover for a parking lot at a restraunt. From past experiences of regular meets at this place (not ricekiller meets), it's a simple show and shine. Just show up, park and mingle, just like the regular car meets at sonics, etc in various cities across the nation.
Re the meet: provided things go as planned for us, the 21st sounds good.
Is this the location you're speaking of?

That would be the one. Like I said, if the haunted house doesn't work out, I think this would be a good place to meet. But if anyone else has any suggestions, speak now or forever hold your keyboard.

So who all showed up for the RiceKilla meet in Frisco? I was there with the Black 05 Celica, it was the only Black 05 Celica there.

Also, about Duke's ... if Sam's Club is closed, they tow cars from that parking lot.

If the meet is in the day light hours, Sam's will not be closed and will not be towing. But if this makes anyone nervous, finding another location is all too easy.
There's El Fenix - A mexican resteraunt not too far down the road.
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=...tx&sa=N&tab=wl
There's also some Italian restaurant on the north west corner of Campell and Coit beside the Corner Bakery that's pretty good. I can't remember the name, but I've eaten there before and they have good food.
Anyone else have a good place if not Dukes? I don't think Dukes is a bad place, so if no one plans to stay there after about 7pm...

I didnt realize how far the RiceKiller.com meet was, its in the parking lot of Stone Briar Mall, and I live near the Parks Mall in Arlington, so it is FAR!
I'll try to make the next meet, but I wont show up on time. I'll end up making a day of it, and hang out at the mall all day.... Plus theres another meet thats supposed to go down on Saturdays right here by me off of Little Road. So that one I'm for sure going to.
What happened to the haunted house deal? I thought everyone liked the idea of ghost's and ghouls My suggestion is Chaos Haunted House. Link can be found here: http://www.dfwhauntedhouses.com/modu...ewarticle&id=4
The reason I suggest that one is because its in a HUGE mall parking lot, its actually in what used to be Montgomery Wards. And is has alot of security. So, its safe and big Plus the haunted house is really good... I went to it last year several times when it was called Boneyard.

hrmmm - it did say it's in frisco...
if we do show up to a haunted house, we won't be in the GTi.
I refuse to leave my car parked in a dimly lit parking lot at a mall while I spend an hour or so in a haunted house...

lol Yeah, I agree with that. I know the security at the one on 303 though. Thats why I feel safe there But, I wouldnt do it anyway...
----
As for the RiceKiller meet, did I misunderstand? Because when I went to their site I saw directions to Cruisers, and it gave me directions to the Stone Briar Mall basically, all the way down Preston.

Ya. It's in the parking lot of Target behind the restaurant. The thing starts officially at 8:30, but it doesn't really get going until 9-9:30.
I'm all up for a haunted house, but I don't really care to drive to Arlington. I will if I that's where the meet is, but I believe northern Dallas would be closer to most of the people that will be coming. If I'm wrong, then fine. I'm kool with anything, but north Dallas/Carrolton is my preference.
Also, does anyone have of those MP3Car stickers?
