The majority of us live local... why not just a "hey lets meet at Skoots Friday night." I do that alot w/ some of the truck guys, and it works out pretty well.

Dono - you can set it up if you want. Nothing is stopping you from doing so.

All right kids, I'm back...I'm sorry I missed the last couple of meets, but I had some "major life events" that took precedence for a few weeks there.
Dono (and everyone else), I'm up for a July meet whenever you are. I'm starting med school tomorrow, but I have the weekends off this month, so any Friday night, Saturday, or Sunday would work for me.
I finally bought and installed a touchscreen (a Lilliput 629...sorry Proph, but I just couldn't bring myself to order from a Hong Kong supplier off eBay, even if it was cheaper), and I'm happy to report that SD is up and running consistently and without any major issues (other than the bugs reported in the forums). Ahhh...the end of an era.

I'm up for a meet the weekend after this one comming up. I'll be out of town this weekend and I'm still getting a last few touches of the system installed.
All I have left on my system is
1. Reinstall Windows / Steet Deck / etc
2. Run a 5v line up to the CDRW/DVD-Rom in the front (The USB cable lost too much power going from the back to the front).
3. Run a constant line from the front to the back for the 4.1 Surround Sound Converter.
4. Use brain stem to configure the power supply. (Signal isn't long enough to start the system.
That should be about it. Everything else is installed and hidden away.

We're out of town this weekend as well for Heat Wave down in Austin. I'm not 100% about next weekend as we might have to go get the truck if our mechanic can't bring it back up to us after replacing the stall and taking a look at the tranny.
Anywho, anyone have any suggestions on a place, date, and time?
