Ok- if it's this weekend, I know we won't be there.
Turns out we're going up to Mena, AK for a visit to a family friend with the in-laws.

Mena? I was there July 2007. If you go, the Talimena Scenic Biway is the way to go for some kick-*** curves.
Here is a closeup of that route. Ciick

I have lost count of the number of times I've ridden that road...
From 2005:
The sunset up there can be very pretty:
Makes for some great pictures:
Heading further north yields many more great roads. The Skyway is just the tip of the iceberg!
Unfortunately, we won't be riding on this trip, it's just a day trip. Though we're planning another trip up in April, this time on the bikes.

Do we have a meeting place and time?
I live more in the Lewisville area before Lake Dallas....There are some nice spots there...Chili's, Bennigan's (by Car Toys), El Fenix, Ratzoos, Don Pablos, etc.
Location: North (better for anyone from OK), South, East, or West ?
Time: 3:00PM ?
Comments...

3pm
I am in if we meet at 3pm. Lewisville or Addison, does not matter. I'm in Carrollton so right between the 2.

From my experience over the years, your best bet is to just pick a place and call it...otherwise no one else will step up and call it.
If I were going to be here for this meet I'd say Bennigan's in Lewisville....

I'm in Carrollton too. I got plans at 7:30pm but other than that I should be able to make it. Bennigan's by Car Toys sounds like a great spot, the parking lots around there are large and open. I say let's set it up for there.

well, its suppsed to be very bad up here on sat. so it looks like i will not be able to make it. for a few reasons, i can not risk injuring my self again. i am still very liable to fall back into a coma with the slightest bump on the head. so, i am going to play it safe and not risk it. i already have one recent tramatic brain injury. i came out pretty well, but the next time will not play out so well. here is what the news says its gonna be like....
