Sorry guys, but I gotta bail. News just said Ike is probably going to still be a catagory 2 by the time it reaches my house. Gotta head home and get it ready.
Maybe next time!

Wear your rubbers?
Don't think it's a question of "if it rains" but how much it will be raining.
My vehicle has a fording depth of 24" but I've been known to go through deeper, so I should be there.

I'm not sure we'll be able to make it.
My mom is evacuating right now....I grew up in Houston and my entire family still lives there.
We'll be watching the weather.
According to the last map I saw, expecting 84 mph sustained winds for our zip code.
Might have to call this one off for us. Hopefully there won't be a hurricane for the next one.

- -Man, it's not going to do a damn thang. This is TEXAS!!! North Texas at that. Nothing has happened big here since the tornado in Ft.Worth that damaged the Bank One building downtown.- -

You got my vote. Should have had the meet here today.
Could have had everyone help me cut down 5 dead trees. lol
I hurt.
70mph sustained in Galveston right now (according to Weatherbug)
Now just to wait for the wind here.......
