For the record, I made it, I was just late.
I did get my case finished (it's beautiful BTW).
I intended to ask if anyone knew of somewhere local (Plano area)that would have the Dyna-Weld bumper repair epoxy in stock. All I've been able to find is the 3M branded one that is stupid expensive.

Yeah, my phone had an unfortunate experience with water last Sunday, and I haven't been able to replace it yet.

Ok, Looks like in the future, were going to try and upgrade our meets. Instead of just meeting somewhere and having a good time hanging out. We are going to start having installation meets.
Generally, these installation meets will be at someone's garage (or somewhere where we can work on the car). We'll plan out in advance who's ride we'll be working on and some kind of outline of what we intend on completing. That way we don't over do it with whatever time constraints that we have. Also, this allows each individual, whose car is being worked on, to bring the required tools and materials needed to get the job done.
This is just a start on the idea that was brought up at the last meet. Maybe this should be in a new thread detailing how an install meet works, I just thought we'd put it on this thread first and see how this idea would be fleshed out.
Feel free to add on ideas.

Cool idea, we did this kinda ad-hoc at the Chicago Meets. Defining some guidelines would help with scheduling, prioritizing, and make the newbies more comfortable about bringing their incomplete installs to the meets for constructive criticism. We just joke with each other about Saw-Zaws and Duct tape, but that probably ran off all the newbies.
At the St. Louis meet, we also decided at least one meet a year would be a swap meet where everyone brings their unused items for trade, barter, sale, etc. The first time was hilarious cause people that weren't even part of our group would see our wares laying out on blankets in the park and stop and shop! It was like an impromptu flea market.

Doesn't matter to me really. I was planning to try and put in a "valet" switch and mess with some other software stuff this weekend.

We're going to be working on our car this weekend. Mostly done with the new pillars, just have to take them and the car in on Monday to get them covered and have the new headliner done.
We can meet at Stan's on the lake since the weather is probably going to be really nice this weekend.
Anyone?
