Car is down. Starter went out again! Also, found that I am having to change the rear main oil seal, behind the clutch and flywheel.

why do people think they have to have a working set up just to show up to one of these meets? I'm completely lost on this thought process...always have been....*scratches head*

cuz all i''d do is drool over others' setup and I don't like doing that.
edit. Besides, it was still cold the last 2 months. Have not been in meets in 5 yrs. I've went to as far as Houston and Austin.

I can pass on the Paintball. I don't like embedded red dots on my skin.

Yeah - the paintball thing isn't something that would get everyone out IMHO.
Everyone here has some pretty different interests, I think if we try and throw an activity in there, it's going to push some people away.
We can do a cook out at a park if we like. That's a pretty easy deal, everyone can bring their own thing. Or, we can meet up at at restaurant again.
It's easy, it gets everyone out, and everyone likes to eat. It's not going to alienate anyone. Even if you don't want to spend the money, you can still come out and get a soda and chat with everyone.
We have a park here at our house and a few grills. We have a half basketball court for some pickup, we have a playground and a soccer field as well.
We can do an install day if needed too.
