Well Giz not to brag but it was 84 in Springfield Sunday It was probably warmer when you got home not to mention there was no rain.
Well The damage was estimated at $4400. The car was driveable yesterday the Radiator fan oilpan was all replaced as they had an rear bumper in waiting on a vibe that got rearended so they sprayed that and put it on. the rest of the work should be started next week, I am also having the rust spot on the hatch as well as some scratches on the drivers rear door fixed. I am getting 4 new tires out of the deal because they dont make the escta 711 anymore and since the tires were only 2.5mo old. so I should be shining good next month.

It was small but still good as always. You can make the next one though. Just don't go and wreck your ride so you have an excuse for not showing.
JK Aron..... glad you made it ok.....Superior driving skills gets ya through everytime though.

Yeah, been a member for a few years, gets me discounts on parts from local dealers when I need a part for my old car. Also would get me a discount on track days and autocrosses, but i don't do those with my boat (which isn't bad for $25? a year).
However it doesn't cost a thing to come out to cruise nights or to go spectate at an autocross: http://chicagovw.org/. That and I'm going to assume you're on the vortex?

There will be one out at OCC in August during Treffen (Saturday the 18th). Otherwise they're monthly over at Maywood Park, next one's this Saturday if memory serves.

Yeah, it's a bit of a haul (like I said, I don't go either ), and yes, they require helmets, but they have a few loaners on hand.
