I'll try to show up with new stuff in the dash, I plan to show you guys what alternative technology can do :> (Linux)
here's more or less what I want to show off...

BTW, MP3DUB, you have enough room in the dash to put 8", just move climate control somewhere else

That vid is pretty sweet. Wirelessdreamer is also a big linux guy, and I know Jeff (pcfreak) is thinking about switching to linux the vid just might push him into it.

Aint no pushing about it.... it's just a matter of getting the time and energy to switch everything over.... I think I dumped about 2 gallons of sweat out of my body today....

I think I might be able to make it down for the July 29 meet. I'm up in Green Bay. I should have my whole system optimized by then. Just need to figure out what I want to do with the subwoofer and then I can tune everything.
We will also be in full production for woofers within the next two weeks so I'll probably bring some stuff down to show off. I can bring down a display we are building for trade shows. It's an exploded woofer with all the components on a clear acrylic tube that shows what we do internally that makes our woofers different. It looks similar to what we have on this ad here: http://www.aespeakers.com/pics/LIS2007.png
I can also bring down some 12" and 15" woofers if anyone wants to drop them in their own cars to demo them in comparison to what they currently use. Anyone interested in that?

John-
It's too bad you don't make any 10", I'd give one a try. Hopefully I can make it out for the next meet. I have to check the calendar.

Hey guys - I'm not dead!
Seriously, sorry I've only made it out once this year. Even got a PM from one of you guys asking about me.
We travel quite a bit from May through October and it's hit or miss to make it those 6 months.
Hope you've been having fun anyway. I see we have some new members. That's great.
No change in any of my systems (Avalon and RAM). Still moving the PC between those vehicles as needed. I have 8" TS-LCDs and other infrastructure (antennas/wiring/etc.) in both so moving the PC takes but a moment to do.
Still using the Junxion box mobile router. I think I want to go with a larger TS in the truck as PC-based GPS routing is less than optimal on the 8" unit. Maybe go with a 10" or so. Thoughts??
Jim
