Potential Location Problem
Looked up the ground/location to see what sports are played there. Basically it looks like Box Hill North Football Club and Elgar Park Cricket Club.
The bad news is that it looks like the Footy Club has a Working Bee on March 18th. I've called the contact (Anthony) on that web page, left a message and I'm waiting for his return phone call.
Naturally, I'll update this thread as soon as I know more.
Cheers,
Long.1

Location is Approved
Hi All,
I've just spoken to Anthony (from Box Hill North Footy Club), and he has given his consent for our meet. I advised that at this stage we look like having about 15 cars at most, and he said it would be no problem as their Working Bee is mainly for the inside of their social rooms.
Looks like it's on for March 18.
Cheers,
Long.1

Great job long your getting the hang of this
Always nice to ask even if you don't have to
We might need a backup plan (i wouldn't think so) depending where they park their cars for the working bee if they park at the front (not likely back area is closer to the units) then move it to the back or the right side of the front parking lot altho we should be fine im sure

Damm!
Damm!!,
I'd love to come but I have just moved to Adelaide and it's a bit far now.
Thx for the invite and give me a yell if anyone's coming this way. Love to catch up and swap stories.
My car PC is in the stages of integration and I'm really bummed about finding a front end that will fill ALL of my req's. I'm thinking that a custom written Front End may be the next stop.
Cheers, THWACK

I will be there, guys, not to far from me - I am in Doncaster East, close to the Reynolds Rd intersection with Springvale Rd, so only 10km odd...
Be warned, I still haven't installed my CarpC yet, still waiting a new PSU from Mp3Car Store.....
But, I can show my UTE, and the DualZone setup - not that it's much though.....
Lol.

Would love to pop along, but the car's in Perth!
Might see if I can tousle up a friend to go instead- he doesn't have a carpc but he IS a software engineer and you guys'll be bad for him (ie - give him ideas!)
Thanks for the invite though - take pictures dammit! I'll pop in pictures of my install too for a full aussie display

Welcome to the forums ROG3RS. I'll add your confirmation to the first post of this thread. Mind you, something is amiss when you (with a CarPC) is being welcomed to these forums by me (with a bunch of components and nothing in a car whatsoever). See you on Sunday.
Cheers,
