I Need One Of These Things

Oh man I really want you guys to get the G4 Infill quick!!! It would be so useful!!! I love driving down the road and can be on the internet and watch porn voyeur cams streaming!!! Well, joking aside it is good cause I will be able to use EXCEL and go over my spreadsheets and look at financial documents with my clients in the car and won't have to wait until I get home and email them the paperwork for them to go ahead and buy from me my stuff. Well, MP3CAR Please message me as soon as you guys know when you will be getting more!!! I need it and would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

What does "now shipping" and "Shipping from June 30th" mean? WHich June 30th? I was kinda waiting till yesterday (june 30, 2008) to see if this was released... no changes, no news.
I realize I'm as noobish as they get, but is this g4 on its way in or on its way out?

The g4 is no longer in stock. Chances are small that we will get more in.

I thot this was coming out this week... spent a lot of time researching, etc. :-(
You guys might wanna change its status in your online store to: On Hold, Discontinued, Unavailable, Total Crap, or something to that effect, so people don't get their hopes up.

I'm new here, but I've been reading the forums for weeks now, and I'm just finding out that a. I don't want one, b. if I did, I couldn't get it.

Same old song...welcome to the world of SD and MP3car.
Where the land of the promised can never be reached.

Actually its seems like MP3car has been going down hill for that last year.
Most products are no longer available.

Come on MP3car...start doing some frakking research and get some nice indash LCDs up.
Like the motorized Xenarc and the DWW-6500.

I mean there is nothign of value on your site now. I could get most of this crap locally.

We are not carrying the G4 as we are focused on delivering what we think is a far superior product..it is in the works and we look forward to delivering in the next few months. For the moment we are working with the manufacturer to improve functionality and stability - already 4 months at this.

The decision to not sell the G4 at the moment is also based on how ridiculously difficult it is to get G4s from the vendor, that work! Too many late night calls to Asia are made to get each unit in to ship to a customer. And too little support, we have had to do support all on our own.

We would like to make sure that we are selling computers and the last batch we sold required us to do work on them before we could even ship them.

...So, should I sell my G4 now before this new "G4-killer" comes out and I'm stuck with it?

Can you "leak" just a little bit of info on the new system? I've been looking at getting something for a while. I was going to buy the Kenwood8120, I know it's not a carputer, but I want integrated, non PITA, radio, and only the infil now provides that.

Cheers

I will just say that we hope to ship within the next two months and as soon as we have a date from the manufacturer on shipping to us, we will provide the details.

We are looking at many new all-in-one options.

Hey, I love my G4, glad I was "lucky" enough to get one. It's been great. But we have two cars and wouldn't mind seeing what else you have in store for us (no pun intended). Maybe too soon to leak anything, but what about software? Will it use factory front end (like the infill station), everybody's favorite SD, or one of the others? [here's hoping for a bone...]
