Well you'll have to connect your GPS to G4 somehow anyway, unless it's Bluetooth which I doubt.
I'm sure nobody here really cares, and already posted this
in another thread, but thought it was worth connecting the dots here too. I know how frustrating it has been to waste hours reading forums where at best you see someone else ask your question, but never find the answer. Connecting the OnStar GPS antenna to G4 internal GPS receiver was exactly what I was hoping to do all along, the "one less dongle" was referring to the 1"x1" magnetic antenna sitting on my dash for the past 13 months

All I needed was a short male MCX to male MCX, found these and ordered one today.

I ordered the first one for $12+shipping from
cableorganizer.com out of FL and I'll give it a shot when it comes in.
