Did you have to change anything in the bios settings for the 2gb upgrade?? I just installed a 2gb ddr2 pc5300 sodimm and it is only seeing it as 1gb!

Maybe 1 GB is the limit Or maybe its the speed of the ram chip your using. Any 1 have a 4200 speed chip to try ?

It looks like Nikzaf in #14 reply installed a 2gb module. I know the unit uses pc-4200, but I was only able to get pc-5300 which is supposed to be compatable with pc-4200 memory, so I'm not sure why it isn't recognizing it. Frustrating!
