Can the G4 work with aftermarket fuel inj. like Accel Gen7

I am running an Accel gen 7 fuel management program in the car and I want the windows software to be able to make changes and do data acquisition on the dash. Is this possible with the G4 indash computer? If anyone has done anything like this I would like to here your input. I am building a Cobra replica with a lot of crazy stuff and this would be a great addition to my dash.

Thanks,

Kevin

I don't know what Accel gen 7 is (come to think of it, I don't even know what a 1966 Cobra is), but I do know that G4 is just a Windows PC. It can do anything a Windows PC can do. If a Windows PC can do what you want then G4 can as well.

Accel Gen 7 is stand alone engine management (it essentially replaces your car ECU).

THe only issue I see with this is that the screen is very small for something of this nature.

Marassa: I put a few pics of a Cobra in my gallery......Once you see one you will always remember them.

RedGTiVR6: Yes you are right it is a windows based program that can control the entire engine, fuel and spark by a laptop computer. When I have my laptop hooked up to the car I can record all the sensors and data log the information. It would be nice to be able to do this without bringing my laptop. My car has a lot of modern things in it it is not like the originals so the more unique and special it is the better.

You can record all you want with the G4, nothing is going to prevent that.

What I'm getting at is making the adjustments as is necessary with a stand-alone system like the Accel.

Making those adjustments on a small 6.5" screen is going to be near impossible.
