It's been a few weeks now that I've had my G4 running, and I love it, but I have yet to see my HDD LED light up. Not on boot, shutdown, indexing, NAV, or at any other point. I know I've built desktop PCs that I didn't connect the cable for one reason or another, wasn't sure if this was the case here. Or if it simply is non-operational like the DMB antenna connection (US) and the parking brake wire.

More curious than anything.

It seems like the light is very very dim and you can hardly see it in normal lighting. But I certainly saw it a couple of times when G4 was on my desk and it was dark.

I had initially assumed something like that, but even driving in the dark of night I haven't seen it flicker.

hi, my LED is not working. I think they not work, is only a fake :-) But i bought my G4 at cartft.com (eurpean edition with S-ATA)
