I believe that might be a mute question at this point (I wondered it myself, but we all have our reasons)
OJINDIA, Do you have the full version of SD? The navigation is actually Microsoft MapPoint, which may need to be installed separately. Some of the features do not work properly if SD is unregistered.
IF you bought your G4 from MP3car.com then you should call and request a restore disk. I believe it is actually a disk image that should restore it to "like new" condition, complete with working drivers and the latest release of SD.

Is it really necessary to reformat the disk to install a language?
By the way, you should know that StreetDeck does not support any language using non-Latin letters and it will not work correctly on a non-English version of Windows.

Try the same way you ordered your G4 from them.
Good luck!

Unless you purchased your G4 from the mp3car.com store (here), you're not entitled to the restore DVD.
It appears that you purchased it from another vendor, which means that you should contact them for support.
If the unit came with Windoze pre-installed, then they are legally required to provide you with a copy of Windows to reinstall, if needed. The restore DVD in question is provided with the G4 units sold through the mp3car.com store.

I feel it should be mentioned again that if you plan on using StreetDeck and having the Aribic language on your PC you will probably run into problems.

i know it is after-the-fact at this point, but you can install the Arabic language pack while running windows normally - no need to reformat. If you tried this and it didn't work, nevermind. if you did not know about this, PM me and i'll give you the details.
but again as others have said, if you are running StreetDeck as your front end, it won't support that language pack. If you want it just for the underlying windows install, are you not using StreetDeck while in your car? What are your main uses for the G4 if you're not running StreetDeck?

I'm not 100% positive, but I am pretty sure that the restore DVD is a disk image and therefore you won't be given a language option. Equally not 100% positive, but can you use your Windows disk and do a "repair" install and swicth the language? Never tried it, just a thought. But, again, as has been mentioned, expect to run into "issues" if you deviate from the supported install options of mp3car.com

I wonder what kind soul told you that you need to reformat your drive to get that. All you needed to do was go to Windows Control Panel/Language and Regional Standards/Languages and tick "Install right-to-left languages support" (sorry for rough translation from Russian but it should be close). This way you would have retained StreetDeck in working condition and got the possibility of working with Arabic language in Windows apps (but NOT in StreetDeck!).
Now I presume you have installed Arabic version of Windows, right? Well, StreetDeck will not run on it correctly unless you do some deep hacking.
