Got my g4 however......

Thanks to the guys at mp3car, I received my G4 Saturday and installed it over Saturday and Sunday. I installed 2 programs on it in addition to streetdeck that came installed. 1 was gpsgate for tracking of the vehicle, the other was vnc server, however i noticed that when playing mp3 music and being in the nav screen that the music is choppy like the processor cant handle this, has anyone else found this issue? i would have thought there would be more overhead free, I wasn't logged into the vnc at the time so it was dormant

also

A warning for anyone with a Nissan Xterra, their is a structural bar right behind the hole for the unit and you have to make up your own right angled din cables or it AINT going in.

That beam is called a "cross car beam", everyone that reads this, "DO NOT CUT" this bar. This is a major structural item in the vehicle and can cause problems in a crash. This bar exists in every vehicle but some vehicle radio locations can place the G4 connectors in-line with this bar. Right angle connectors or custom made are your only choice.

yeah looking at how thick the bar is I would say it would be hard to cut. right angled connectors fixed the issue
