I have a G4 with 5.1 pre out, cause i want to use good amps.
The 5.1 sound is nice when using 5.1 DVDs.
If you play just stereo, switch back to stereo, but get olny 2.0 or 4.0, with no subwoofer, but i neeeed it ;-) ...
If it is left to 5.1, you hear the center speaker too.
Is it possible, by using a special driver, to get a 4.1 pre out?
The G4 is not build in the car now, i will do it next week, but already test and set it up.

Are you looking for 5.1 and 4.1 from within StreetDeck or just on the G4 in general (or a hybrid? I think the system comes with some sort of speaker configuration utility. And by 4.1 do you something akin to dolby digital 2.1 playing thorugh both front and rear speakers for music?

Hi Jason,
i would like to use Centrafuse.
When i put in a DolbyDigital 5.1 DVD, i would like to hear 5.1.
That is working already.
When i just play stereo, i would like to hear 2.1 or 4.1,
that means: 1 (only front) or 2 (front and rear) x stereo plus subwoofer.
But i get only stereo WITHOUT subwoofer or 5.1 and then you hear the center too.
And that is a kind of mix... Don't want the center in that case!
Ok, i could make a switch into the center line, but it might work by software.
Is it working with SD in that way? I think is is a Question of Realtek driver?!
When you take a stereo CD in, do you hear the center?
