MP3car.com wifi/gps/cell antenna

Looking for opinions on this....

I have a Holux GPSlim 236 gps. It gets decent reception without an external antenna. But... I want something for my wifi anyway. Looking for some experienced opinions on how it was to install, and how it works.

Currently, I can get 6 satelites on average with the Holux... and until I put the laptop in a box, I could just barely pickup the home network from the driveway.

Thanks!

Your Holux will have to have an external antenna port. Then you'll have to find out what kind of connection is on that port and see if you can find an adapter to go to the GPS chord on the new antenna.

Same goes for wifi.

I would recomend putting your holux up on your roof and seeing if it gives you better reception. It if does, then the new antenna might help.

It's easy to install as long as you already have an antenna that's kinda like it already...ie. already have a hole in your roof.

I cannot speak to if it makes a difference as I'm using it as the antenna with my ET301 reciever.
