Neubie G35 Owner Needs Help!!!

I just bought a 2004 Infinity G35 Coup. And I’m in love, but that’s beside the point. Though I'm a tech professional I'm totally new to Car PC's and the Infinity. The coup did not come with the navigation system, I assume it was optional and not purchased when the original owner bought the car. I know it would cost a boat load to find a stock nav system and wiring harness, pull the dash appart and install it. But what I would like to know is can you install the 700SV with housing or any other aftermarket screen in the G35 housing where the original system should have gone, if you never had the original nav system in the car?

What I am looking to do is...

1. Use the in dash housing to house a touch screen (like the 700V) for a pc, I am NOT trying to install the original navigation system
2. Connect the touch screen to a trunk based computer.
3. Connect it to a CDRW/DVD player where the DVD for the nav system used to sit.

Is this possible?

I was also wondering when you would have the 700sv back in stock or if you would suggest another screen that would fit in the housing?

I work over the store. We are going to have a sale soon on the TSV version of this within the next couple of weeks which will make the TSV more in the range of the standard V version.

We have considered no longer offering G-35 kits, as the demand has decreased in the last few months. For this reason we have running a sale on the 03/04 kits which we have left.

If demand is still there, then we will look into providing the kits again.

What I wouldn't mind seeing is having one of the transflective screens in a G35 mount. 2005 for me, but 2003-2004 would be nice as well. I would probably rebuy the screen/mount, were it offered in a transflective version.

We have one of the 05-06' G35 700TSVs available right now. If you would like it, I'd recommend placing your order right now.

I have a 700 series for sale with dvd player and pac aai in the marketplace. My asking price is less than what you would pay for a new screen and housing alone.
