Have you tried playing a DVD with another drive on that computer?

Do you have the proper codecs installed?

DVD problem?

Hello Frede:

I have the same problem. I am unable to play dvds in my external player, I dont have an internal player because its a carpc. I have downloaded xpack codec, supposedly it works but the activation code isnt entering correctly, go figure. I noticed you posted back in january, have you found a solution to this problem I would appreciate it greatly to know my self.

Try this codec:
http://www.freewindows.dk/fw/modules...fd18f8d66150a0

It's designed for WMP.
