Bxsteez will become famous soon enough
I was wondering after some time what the owners of this unit think about its functionality with centrafuse. Is it fully compatible?

This unit looks exactly like the Azentek Atlas CPC-1000 shown here on their website http://www.azentekonline.com/cms/content/view/41/146/

Does anyone know if these are early "test" models Azentek sent out in the wild to get some feedback?

I think that is covered in line 5 of the post. No support, don't expect any, there won't ever be any.

Just curious what re-posting the product description does when it is on the product detail page of the Guru PC in the store? My question has to do with the Azentek Atlas comparison as the front photo of both units are identical with the exception of the logo.

Now does anyone know?

I think Bugbyte's answer wasn't directed towards you. Anyway I think its the same device. I read on a different forum (or this one) that it was just rebranded. I think Azentek stopped production on that unit or something.

Sorry for the confusion, the post came directly after my question so it threw me off. In any event, you are probably right. IMO, I just don't see someone spending $3000 on this unit that is not supported at all when the Azentek unit will be out late this year. I was looking to purchase one of these units, as I'm sure I'm like many and don't want to wait, but at this price it turns me off.

I think that unit was already released and discontinued by Azentek. This is what i've gathered from what i've read. I think ur spending like 1500 extra for the convience of having a drop in. I think i have about the same specs with the exception of 4GB of RAM ( which i think would be a brutly hibernate resume) and it cost me about 1200 not including install parts.

Does anyone know if the Guru features a startup/shutdown controller? Also, is the radio Tuner independent or can it be discovered via windows?

The radio tuner is windows integrated. The shutdown controller is a software applicatoin that runs on the guru.

Thank you! So I assume that Centrafuse will integrate with the radio tuner.

Is the software application for the shutdown controller an independent piece of software or with the built in windows power settings?

Reason I am concerned is because I just received an Azentek Atlas CPC-1000 but it does not come with a front end, much like the Guru.

Radio integration with centrafuse is possible, but not is not under active support. Centrafuse might be able to assist you with that.
