M2-ATX vs. M2-ATX-HV

What's the difference?

I think HV stands for "high voltage" or "higher voltage" because HV's working range is 6-36V while regular is 6-24V

Sorry to revive an old thread, but if a car battery only puts out ~13V then the HV modle would be overkill correct? If the price were the same (which they are) would there be a reason to get one over the other?

The HV model is useful for 24v systems, really no reason to get it on a 12v based system.
