Hello all

As i said, i'm back to visual basic coding, after 1 month of swiss army

So, here is the new neocar media center version, multilanguage

This is NOT the new 07 version, but i've maked a adaptation of the official 07 skin.

NEW IN THIS VERSION:

- neocar manager in english
- neocar skin workshop in english
- neocar media center only in french (but only date format and some error messages are in french

)
- neocar media center 06 with some bug corrections relative to the new skin

English and french languages are supplied.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
___________________________

- install neocar_suite_v06.exe ( http://neocarmediacenter.com/?page=t...ment&fichier=1 ). This is in french but you will only see french in the setup program. IMPORTANT: do not check the option "lancer neocar..." at installation's end.

- decompress this ZIP neocar folder ( http://neocarmediacenter.com/?page=t...ent&fichier=17 )

- start NEOCAR MANAGER directly after decompressing, to let you choose language

REMEMBER:

THIS IS A OLD VERSION. No comparison possible with the upcoming 07 version. In the 07 a lot of bugs where removed, and lot of code is rewritten. So you will find lot of bugs in this version, reporting them will have no use.

Get an error when loading it.. But its not in English, I think it means I need to setup NMC..

then I get attached error when going to Audio preferences.

I expect to release ns07 end of october, start of november. Because i've lot of debugging and lot of function to verify / improve / code

I will update here when i have news to show.

I'ts just a know v06 bug

You can only use "Album managment" AFTER choosing your folder list and saving the config.

This is allready debugged in new version.

yes, you can easyly add your application to a list with neocar manager.

Just go to appropriate section and add your application like other carPC software (path to software, name of shortcut, ...)

anyone try to embedd Iguidance 2.0 yet

i tried but with no luck, i put the path in and for the findtext i put in iguidance
when i click on the app in NMC i get "sound files missing or corrupted, please reinstall from cdrom" but when i click on the regular iguidance shortcut on my desktop it works fine

also tried destinator2 but the destinator2 window just stays on top

any ideas

I think the Iguidance problem is related to it needing a "start in directory" as well as the path to the program itself. If you've got Iguidance2 installed in the default directory on your c:\ drive you can try this little script program to launch it that I wrote over here:

rg - no luck my path is c:\programfiles\inavi\iguidance\iguidance.exe

start in - c:\programfiles\inavi\iguidance

when i clicked on your file it looks like iguidance went into a loop, i see about 10 icons by the clock and the screen flickers, iguidance wont even load up now, even if i click on the regular desktop icon

Salut Netsuo!

I tried NeoCar because it looks really good. I would like the following functionality in my system: mp3, divx, dvd, pictures, gps so neocar looks perfect... I would like to try it out because I didnt like MediaEngine and FrodoPlayer because they keep MP3 and Videos together, which makes it harder to organize stuff IMO... Media Car looks nice from that angle, but is quite buggy and looks unupdated in a while... I've got great expectation from NeoCar, but for now after setting up everything in the manager I get "nmc: Unexpected error" when loading the media center... any idea?
